/ The Balvenie
I was invited to Scotland as part of a commission for The Balvenie; Shooting as part of their five rare crafts at their distillery in Dufftown. We assembled a team to capture The Maltings with a brief focusing on time lapses to show the time taken in the process and the hand crafted element.
/ Deliveroo Macro
Last month I was commissioned by the lovely folks at Deliveroo to shoot some super sexy macro food for their new venture, Deliveroo editions. They are setting up kitchens with the restaurants on their books in new areas to spread their reach and provide more great meals to the nation.
/ One Eleven at Aviator by Tag
I was invited down to Farnborough to shoot the incredible One Eleven bar/restaurant, which is part of the Aviator hotel. Relaunching their menu with some healthy brunch and classic Americana I was on board to up the hunger factor.
/ Smokestak Courier Magazine
A recent commission for Courier Magazine. The article is all about Street Food growing up and coming indoors.
"They’re into street food 2.0: the restaurant dream. The rockstars of yesteryear’s food markets – Meat Liquor, Pizza Pilgrims, Bao, Smokestak, Breddos Tacos, Bleecker St – have moved into bricks and mortar, and there are plenty more clamouring to join them.
/ MS Society Cake Breakers
Just before Christmas I was asked by the team at the MS Society to help them out snapping images for their Cake Breaker campaign. The idea is based around the notion of baking it or faking it for a cake sale to raise money for the MS Society. Throw a sale but save the leg work and you can buy pre made cakes if you don't have the time to bake.
/ Hellman’s Burger Route
Last Autumn I was commissioned by mayonnaise kings Hellman's to shoot a scene in a busy burger restaurant. The brief wanted an open pass with a chef serving up in the middle, in the middle of a rustic wooden restaurant environment. I knew just the place and hired a restaurant for the day, filled it with friends, family and agency faces to appease our limited budget and captured them as they went about their day. All with a light motion blur.
/ Warburtons Toastie Pockets
Early in 2016 I was asked by Warburtons to shoot a then TOP SECRET packaging project. A year later Toastie Pockets are on the shelves of supermarkets everywhere and I can finally talk about them. Aimed at the snacking market, Toastie Pockets are somewhere between Thins and a pitta bread. There is a cut out pocket to fill with your favourite ingredients to pop in the toaster and heat up.
/ Lurpak - The Dairy
Earlier this year I was commissioned by Lurpak to shoot a process film about the process of making Lurpak. Working with producer Jay Booth of the confessional and DOP hero Dave Miller we shot this piece in the Arla dairy in the heart of the Danish Jutland.
/ Dip & Flip
Just before Christmas I managed to sneak in a day shooting with the lovely people at Dip n Flip. I encountered their burgers at National Burger Day in 2015! They were serving green chilli cheeseburgers, assembling the bare ingredients and placing the burger in a takeaway container before handing the customer a disposable plastic glove. The customer would look bemused until they saw their burger covered with a ladle full of rich meaty gravy and the bemusement would be replaced with a knowing smile.
/ Butchery at The Hampstead Providore
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of joining the team at The Hampstead Providore to document their butchers in action. A lovely bunch of guys. For anyone who wonders why meat is so expensive, go and see what it actually takes to properly take one apart. And thats after its been given somewhere to live and something to eat itself.
/ Wild Cooking
A recent commission shooting food in the wild. Campfire cooking really does have a wonderfully romantic quality... Wild Mushrooms on charred toast - what a dream.
*Please don't go foraging unless you know what can and can't kill you.
/ Honest Kebab #CookforSyria
On Tuesday I did my bit for Instagram food hero @ClerkenwellboyEC1's latest project #CookforSyria. He has lined up special charity nights at London's top restaurants and this time around it was the turn of my friends: Honest Burgers
/ Intercontinental Park Lane
I was asked back to shoot for one of my regular clients, The Intercontinental on London's Park Lane. We regularly shoot food and drink, specifically their afternoon tea as well as their restaurants but this shoot was a bit different!! The hotel is teaming up with Harvey Nicols to give their guests a unique styling service, allowing someone to drop off items perfect for them with as little as a phone call from their room or suite.
/ Bali
I’m very lucky in travelling all over the world. Last month I was in Indonesia shooting the tropical paradise and tourist delight that is Bali. I'm now back in London and the role of travel photographer seems a distant memory in this winter chill. However hopefully these snaps will hopefully warm you up. All of these images were shot on a Fuji X100t.
/ Honest Burgers / Mate Date Mondays / East vs West / New Locations
Honest Burgers have been extremely busy once again and as their resident food photographer, specifically... Burger photographer, i've been running around London snapping their wares.
/ Imbibe Cocktails At Home
I've been back working with cocktail aficionado Laura Foster with Square Meal. This time around we are looking at the Old Fashioned. It's often seen as a difficult drink to make but is actually really simple and perfect for adding your own twist to.
/ Tesco Dinner Tonight
I've been back shooting for the team at Tesco as part of their Dinner Tonight series. Swooping in between their video shoots I managed to grab some quick snaps of the prepared meals and the incredible chefs that prepare them.
/ Dominique Ansel Bakery
Yesterday Dominque Ansel's London Bakery opened. A partner to his New York and Tokyo sites Dominique has come across the Atlantic to join us in blighty. Queues of hundreds formed for the doors opening and those desperate to get their hands on the goods claimed their spot from as early as 5am.

As a Finalist in the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the year and regular customer at The Flash Centre, I was asked to do an interview about my food photography work.
/ Byron Burgers
As a lover of Burgers I was excited to be invited to shoot some Byron Burgers. Along with their beef regulars they are also now offering some chicken specials too including the Clucky Balboa to take on their bovine counterparts. In addition there are of course some incredible, over the top milkshakes to boot.
